just letting you know that we’re still here. In fact, we’re currently working on a brand-new application. It has nothing to do with Ulysses or the Localization Suite, and we’re still very very early into the development process.

It’ll have much more mass-market appeal (we think), and it will once again have users and developers alike say »how come I didn’t think of that«. Yup.

Right now, I can’t show you anything or tell you about much — apart from the fact that we’re working hard on it, and that it is, in fact, not another image processor. ;)

The app has been on my mind for about two to three years, no kidding, so you might be able to grasp how happy I am to finally get the concept and mockups transformed into a working executable. We hope to have a shipping product good and ready before the end of the year, so don’t expect much updates here or on our homepage, nor any substantial additions to Ulysses 1.5 in the meantime.

As soon as we got a working beta, or even as soon as we need user input/feedback for the new app, we’ll let you know.

We have finally managed to finish a preview for our LaTeX exporter. It’s a important piece in some of your workflows so I guess we have to excuse for the delay. But you know – good things need their time.

However, you can get it from here. For a more detailled description on how to install it etc. have a look at our forums.

In this version huge chunks of the exporter has been rewritten. A completely new interface and lots of new options finally give you the full control over the output.
